Wilber Fire Station – Wilber

The city of Wilber, Nebraska had a growing need for additional fire and rescue space. The fire apparatus and emergency vehicles were carefully packed, bumper to bumper, in the existing facility like puzzle pieces.

To develop an updated, expanded facility, we worked with the fire department to determine their needs, goals and space requirements.

The resulting project consists of renovating the 1,754 sq.ft. first floor of the existing two story masonry building by adding ADA restrooms, weight room and showers, removing the existing 2,685 sq.ft. metal building apparatus garage and replacing it with a larger 11,000 sq.ft. metal building EMS and Fire Apparatus addition, as well as remodeling a portion of the second floor to add an ADA restroom and meeting space.
